Add another Time-Location view

It is possible to easily add a new Time-Location view to the schedule in order to display different information or different representation scales.

This feature allows you for example to:

  • display multiple levels of detail
  • combine different representations of the project
  • compare several planning logics on the same screen

To add a new Time-Location view:

  1. right-click in the existing Time-Location view
  2. choose one of the following options:
  • Add time axis
  • Add distance axis

Tilos360 then automatically creates a new Time-Location cell associated with the view.

The position of the new Time-Location cell depends on the orientation of the schedule.

Depending on the configuration of your first Time-Location view:

  • adding a time axis may create a new view to the right
  • adding a distance axis may create a new view below

The exact position depends on the orientation chosen for the schedule (horizontal or vertical time axis).

Using several Time-Location cells makes it possible to enrich the analysis of the schedule.

For example:

  • perform a temporal zoom on a section of the project
  • perform a geographical zoom on a section of the project
  • compare multiple versions of the schedule

This approach makes it possible to build richer schedule views adapted to the project analysis needs.

When a view contains several Time-Location areas, each one corresponds to a Time-Location cell.

The editing principle remains exactly the same as for a view containing only one cell.

The only difference is that the properties window allows you to select the cell to modify.

On the left side of the configuration window, a view explorer allows you to navigate between the different cells.

To modify a cell:

  1. open the Configuration window
  2. in the left panel, select the desired Time-Location cell
  3. the parameters of this cell then appear in the configuration tabs

Each cell has its own parameters:

  • time range
  • distance range
  • displayed sub-projects
  • visible geographical zones

This allows several Time-Location cells within the same view to represent different levels of schedule analysis.
