Add sectors and key points
Sectors and key points allow geographical markers to be added directly along the distance axis.
They can be used to display, for example:
- project sections
- structures
- work areas
- crossings
- geographical limits
These elements enrich the reading of the Time-Location schedule by adding geographical context to the project.
Add a sector line
In the Distance axis tab, click + to add a new line.
Then select the Sector type.
A new line will appear in the list of distance lines.
Choose the displayed value
The Displayed value field allows you to define the information displayed along the distance axis.
For example:
- the sector name
- the quantity
- a description
This allows the display to be adapted to the project conventions.
Configure the appearance
Several parameters allow you to adjust the appearance of the sectors:
- Line height
- Line colour
- Text position
- Text rotation
These options help improve the readability of the distance axis.
Two display modes are also available:
- Sector style
- Common style
The common style allows the same style to be applied to multiple sectors.
Select zones to display
The lower part of the window allows you to select the project zones to display.
These zones are usually organised in a hierarchical structure:
- structures
- sections
- junctions
- work areas
Each zone is defined by:
- a starting chainage (Pkd)
- an ending chainage (Pkf)
By checking the Visible column, the zone appears directly in the Time-Location view.
Add a new zone
It is possible to add new zones directly from this interface using the button:
- + Zone
It is also possible to add a new axis in order to organise zones by category.
These elements help structure the project and enrich the reading of the Time-Location schedule.
