Page layout
The page layout tool is a simple and intuitive feature that allows you to create a print template for PDF exports.
It can be accessed using the button:
in the side navigation panel.
Margins tab
The margin settings allow you to include various elements in the printed deliverables as needed.
It is also possible to create columns in the header and footer.
Adjusting margins to insert information in deliverables
To leave space for inserting various information, you can define margins of 2 cm at the top and bottom.
Using the column add button, you can also create three columns in the header:
Information tab
This tab allows you to insert various information on the sheets related to:
- the Project: Name, Description, Manager, Start and End dates
- the Phase: Name, Start and End dates
- the Sheet: Drawing name, Page number in the deliverable
- the Deliverable: Current date (issue date)
It is also possible to insert free text and images.
Example: inserting the project name, phase name and page number
Using simple drag and drop, you can insert the following fields:
- Project name
- Phase name
- Current date
- Page number
into the top and bottom margins.
For each field, a right-click on the text, then the Settings option, allows you to customize:
- the font
- the size
- the color
Note that alignment is automatic within each of the 9 cells of each section:
