Customizing pages

Let us now look at the second tab in the top panel: the Sheet tab, which is accessible only when you select a page from your deliverable.

This tab contains all the settings used to customize the display and content of a sheet.

It includes the features used to manage:

  • the sheet display
  • zoom and navigation
  • display options
  • adding objects to the sheet

Let us look at the following buttons:

  1. By default, the Sheet button is active. The mouse wheel can then be used to zoom in or out on the sheet.
  2. To zoom on the plan or the map, activate Map. The mouse wheel will then act on the plan.
  3. The checkbox next to the hand icon displays the zoom and navigation control panel.
When Sheet is active When Map is active

The + and buttons can also be used to zoom in or out without using the mouse wheel.

Depending on the active mode:

Sheet mode

  • the first button adjusts the sheet to the window width
  • the second button adjusts the sheet to the window height
  • the third button applies this configuration to the following sheets

Map mode

  • the first two buttons reload the print area
  • the third button applies the print area to the following sheets

  • The first drop-down menu allows you to choose the Plan + Print Area combination
  • The second menu selects the background plan to display
  • The apply button allows these settings to be applied to the following sheets

This button groups all display settings in a single menu.

It allows you to show or hide:

  • labels
  • arrows
  • legends
  • chainage (PK)
  • the scale

Each option can be applied to the following sheets.

Labels can be adjusted manually, but their position can also be optimized automatically.

By clicking the corresponding icon, the optimization algorithm can be launched.

In the following window, click Start.

When the best placement is found, the graph turns green.

You can then stop the calculation and close the window.

From the Sheet tab, it is possible to add different objects to the sheet.

To add a timeline:

  • select the Timeline object
  • drag and drop it onto the sheet

The timeline can then be resized using the object's handles.

By default:

  • the sheet period is highlighted
  • the timeline represents the entire deliverable period

To modify the color of the highlighted period:

  • right-click on the highlighted area
  • select Settings

To customize time units (months, weeks, days):

  • right-click on the timeline border
  • select Add row
  • choose the desired unit

The timeline can be synchronized across all sheets using the apply button.

From the Sheet tab, it is also possible to insert a Gantt chart.

To do so:

  • open the Insert object menu
  • select Gantt chart
  • drag the object onto the sheet

Once inserted, the chart can be customized:

  • activity grouping
  • activity sorting
  • adding columns
  • adding grids
  • adding time scales

Legends can also be added by drag and drop from the Sheet tab.

Simply select the desired legend and drop it onto the sheet.
