Gantt toolbar
The toolbar located above the Gantt chart allows quick actions on the schedule display and organisation.
It provides several features.
Filter by zone
The Zone filter displays only the activities associated with a specific project zone.
This filter is particularly useful for linear projects or projects containing several work areas.
Filter by time period
The Start and Finish fields allow activities to be filtered according to a selected time range.
Two modes are available:
- Between: displays activities intersecting the period
- Strict: displays only activities fully contained
within the selected period
Advanced filter
The Advanced filter button allows the definition of more precise criteria to display certain activities.
Activities can be filtered according to various project fields.
Grouping
The Grouping function organises activities according to a specific criterion.
For example:
- by zone
- by activity type
- by category
Grouping improves schedule readability and analysis.
Activity display style
The Activity display menu allows modification of how activities appear in the Gantt chart.
Activities can be coloured according to:
- their style
- their colour
- the associated zone
- certain activity fields
This improves the readability of the schedule.
Add an activity
The + button allows a new activity to be quickly added to the schedule.
Reschedule
The Reschedule button recalculates the schedule dates according to the links and constraints defined between activities.
Navigating the schedule
Navigation in the Gantt chart can be performed in several ways:
- by moving the view horizontally along the timeline
- by using filtering tools
- by adjusting the time scale
- by collapsing or expanding hierarchy levels
These tools make it possible to navigate efficiently even in schedules containing a large number of activities.
