Connected objects management

Connected objects allow you to add graphical elements to the plans and associate them with phasing activities.

They can represent, for example:

• traffic lanes
• temporary paths
• logistics flows
• infrastructure elements related to activities

In the Phasing design interface:

1. open the Objects drop-down menu
2. click the Add Polyline button

Then draw the polyline point by point using the left mouse button.

Once the last point has been placed, finish the drawing with a right-click.

Among the options available after the right-click, it is possible to define the direction of circulation by displaying an arrow.

For a two-way route, it is possible to display two arrows.

To improve readability, the style of the polyline can be modified.

Procedure:

1. hover over the polyline
2. right-click on one of its segments
3. select Settings

You can then modify:

• the color
• the line appearance
• other graphical parameters

To rename a connected object:

1. open the Connected objects on selected plan tab

in the lower panel of the Phasing design window

1. use the visibility checkboxes to locate the object on the plan
2. select the corresponding row
3. click Edit

You can then modify the object name.
