GIS management

In a few words

TILOS 360 allows you to create construction phasing directly on standard or satellite maps, georeference PDF plans on these maps and import zones and axes from a KMZ file.

Maps

TILOS 360 allows you to design phasing scenarios directly on standard or satellite maps.

Simply search for an address to display the corresponding map using the search field available on the map.

For example, you can search for a city (for example *Toulouse*) and then select a detailed Satellite view.

Map types

The selector located below the search field allows you to choose the map type.

Several sources are available:

For each source, different background maps can be selected:

Adjusting the map

Several tools are available to adjust the map.

1. Move the map

Click on the map and move it using the mouse wheel button.

2. Use zoom

Zoom can be controlled using:

For more precise zooming:

Image quality is optimal at integer zoom levels (for example 15.0 or 16.0).

3. Rotate the map

To orient the map:

  1. activate the orientation tool by checking the box next to the zoom level
  2. click the red arrow at the top right of the map

The arrow then changes color.

Then click the Hand icon to switch to map move mode.

You can now rotate the map using the mouse.

Once the rotation is completed:

  1. click the arrow again
  2. then click the hand

to exit rotation and move modes.

Once the map is correctly positioned, print zones can be defined.

Importing KML / KMZ

It is possible to draw zones and axes directly on the map, but they can also be imported from a KMZ file created in Google Earth.

To import a file:

  1. click Import KML
  2. select the KMZ file

The zones contained in the file are then automatically created in the project.

Displaying the map behind the plan

Georeferenced plans can display the GIS map as a background, even beyond the boundaries of the plan.

Two tools allow this display to be managed:

This makes it easy to combine:
