Clipping allows parts of one plan to appear on another plan using two input plans.
This feature is particularly useful for creating intermediate plans showing the evolution of the construction site according to the progress of the works.
Clipping can be configured in several ways:
At this location, for each status of each zone category, you can define whether clipping should be enabled and which plan should be used. In most cases, clipping is applied to completed zones for specific categories.
To learn more, see Zone categories.
By opening the properties of a zone, it is possible to associate a specific clipping configuration.
Note: in this case, whenever an activity appears in the zone, the deliverable will display the zone color together with the clipping if it is enabled. This clipping will therefore only appear for activities in progress.
This feature allows the same clipping configuration to be applied to all zones with a given status, regardless of their category.
This setting is accessible in the Deliverable tab of the selected deliverable.
For each sheet of a deliverable, the lower panel contains a Zones tab that allows you to browse the different states and display the corresponding zones on the selected sheet.
For each zone, it is possible to manually define whether clipping should be applied.
It is also possible to apply this configuration to the following sheets
