====== Legends tab ====== The **Legends** tab allows titles to be displayed around the Time-Location view in order to clarify the meaning of the axes. These legends are generally used to indicate: * the **name of the time axis** * the **name of the distance axis** * the **type of information displayed in the scales** {{:en:time_distance:2026-03-12_21h54_33.png?400|}} ----- ===== Legend position ===== A legend can be displayed in each of the four corners of the view: * **Top left** * **Top right** * **Bottom left** * **Bottom right** Depending on the orientation of the Time-Location view, these positions allow a title to be added next to the displayed axes. ----- ===== Legend type ===== For each position, it is possible to choose the type of legend to display: * **None** no legend is displayed * **Distance** displays the title associated with the distance axis * **Time** displays the title associated with the time axis These titles correspond to the information displayed in the **time and distance scales** configured in the previous tabs. ----- ===== Text orientation ===== The legend text can be displayed in two orientations: * **Horizontal** * **Vertical** This parameter allows the legend to be adapted to the layout of the schedule and the orientation of the axes. ----- ===== Use in the Time-Location view ===== Legends improve the readability of the schedule by clarifying: * the nature of the time axis * the nature of the distance axis * the overall organisation of the view They are particularly useful when **presenting or printing the schedule**, as they make it easier for readers to understand the Time-Location diagram.
