====== Add an image ====== It is possible to add an **image along the distance axis** to enrich the readability of the Time-Location schedule. This feature can be used, for example, to display: * an orthophoto * a project plan * an infrastructure diagram * a map background The image is then displayed **directly below the schedule** and aligned with the distance axis. {{:en:time_distance:2026-03-12_21h27_37.png?600|}} ----- ===== Add an image line ===== In the **Distance axis** tab, click **+** to add a new line. Then select the **Image** type. Click **Import image** to load the image to display. ----- ===== Position the image along the project ===== An image is positioned on the schedule using two values: * **Value 1**: starting chainage * **Value 2**: ending chainage These two reference points define the **portion of the project covered by the image**. The image is automatically **stretched between these two points** so that it matches the real distance of the project. ----- ===== Adjust the display ===== Several parameters allow the image display to be adjusted: * **Line height** defines the height of the image band * **Fixed ratio** preserves the proportions of the image These settings help adapt the image to the readability of the schedule. ----- Using images allows you to add **visual geographical context** to the Time-Location schedule and improves the understanding of the project.
