===== Adding, deleting and editing labels =====

Labels allow activity information to be displayed in your **phasing notebooks**.  
Different label templates are available.

Label management is accessible through the project properties:  
**Project → Manage labels**

==== Changing the default label color ====

By default, a predefined label exists for each new project.  
You can modify its properties.

By selecting the label and clicking inside its frame, its properties are displayed:

You can then:

  * choose the option **Associate the cell with a color** (for example a grey `#b3b3b3`)
  * choose the option **Custom field**

This second option allows you to select a **list of styles** from the available custom fields:

==== Creating a label ====

You can create new labels by clicking the **Add** button at the bottom left of the side panel.

Give a name to your new label, then choose its type:

Then click **OK**.

==== Editing labels ====

To change the properties of a label:

  * select it in the side panel
  * click inside its frame to display its properties

To rename a label:

  * select it
  * click the **Edit** button at the bottom
