====== Live View ======

**Live View** allows you to visualize the evolution of a project
over time as a **2D animation**.

You can observe the progression of activities
on the project plans and analyze the phasing
in a dynamic way.

===== Accessing Live View =====

Live View is accessible from the **Design** tab.

Opening Live View launches a **dedicated window**
used to display the project animation.

===== Playing the project timeline =====

To start the visualization:

  - click the **Play ▶ button** located at the bottom right

You can define:

  * the **start date**
  * the **end date**
  * the **visualization duration** (10 seconds by default)

The displayed plan can be changed using the **plan
drop-down list**.

===== Interaction with the Gantt =====

Live View opens in a **separate window** from TILOS 360.

It is therefore possible to view simultaneously:

  * the **Gantt chart**
  * the **Live View**

Using two screens is recommended
for a more comfortable workflow.

When Live View is opened, a **time cursor**
appears in the Gantt.

This cursor indicates:

  * the **period displayed in Live View**
  * the **time interval being visualized**

You can modify:

  * the **position**
  * the **duration**

of the cursor directly in the Gantt.

**Filters applied in the Gantt** are also
taken into account in Live View.

===== Display settings =====

Live View settings are accessible via
the **Settings** button.

This window allows you to define:

  * the **objects displayed**
  * the **annotations**
  * the **simulation time interval**

===== Titles =====

The **Titles** tab allows you to display the
**sub-project name** during the simulation playback.

===== Screenshot =====

It is possible to take a **screenshot**
of the phasing at a specific moment.

Procedure:

  - pause the playback
  - click **Capture**

===== Highlighting activities =====

It is possible to highlight in the Gantt
the activities corresponding to a specific
moment in the simulation.

Procedure:

  - pause the playback
  - click **Highlight**

An **automatic filter** is then created in the Gantt.

To disable this filter:

  - click **Remove Live View filter**.
