====== Mobile pictograms ====== ===== Mobile pictograms ===== **Mobile pictograms** are useful for **activities performed along axes**. They allow graphical elements to be displayed that **move dynamically along an axis**, depending on the progress of the associated activity. These pictograms automatically follow the **segments of the axis currently being executed**. ----- ===== Prerequisites ===== To use mobile pictograms, the following conditions must be met: * **axes** must be created on the plan backgrounds * an **axis must be associated with an activity** * this association must be configured with a **mobile execution mode** ----- ===== Creating a profile ===== Pictogram profiles are created from the project settings: **Phasing → Manage mobile pictogram profiles** {{:en:phasing:2026-03-13_10h10_13.png?600|}} A profile defines a **set of pictograms** that can be used within the project. ----- ===== Adding and configuring an image ===== To create a profile, click the **+ button next to Profiles**: {{:en:phasing:2026-03-13_10h11_17.png?500|}} Once the profile has been created: - select the profile in the left-side panel - click the **+ button** in the right panel You can then add a **pictogram image** and define several parameters: * **Name** – to easily identify the image * **Vertical position** – above, on, or below the segment * **Placement** – start, middle, or end of the segment or its extent * **Rotation** – orientation of the pictogram relative to the axis * **Absolute or relative positioning** * **Size** – using the unit of your choice ----- ===== Associating a pictogram profile with an activity ===== The association between a pictogram profile and an activity is done in the **activity editing window**. In the **Zones** tab, select the relevant axis and associate the pictogram profile. For the pictogram to be mobile, the axis must be configured with **MOBILE execution**. If you attempt to associate a pictogram profile with a **zone**, it will not work: mobile pictograms are designed only for **axes**. {{:en:phasing:2026-03-13_10h13_12.png?700|}} ----- ===== Preview in Live View ===== The easiest way to visualize the movement of pictograms is to use **Live View**. Live View allows you to observe the **dynamic progression of activities and their associated pictograms**.
