====== Table organisation ====== The table located on the left side of the **Gantt chart** allows you to display and organise the information associated with the schedule activities. This table can be customised to adapt the display to the needs of the project analysis. The main available actions are: * adding or removing columns * sorting activities * organising the hierarchy * customising structure colours ----- ===== Adding a column ===== {{:en:gantt:2026-03-12_11h46_29.png?400|}} The table can display many pieces of information about the activities. To add a column: - **right-click on a column header** - select **Add column** A list of available fields will then appear, for example: * **ID** * **Name** * **Zone** * **Start** * **Finish** * **Duration** * **Quantity** * **Productivity** * **Progress** * **Description** The selected column is immediately added to the table. This allows the schedule view to be adapted according to the information needed for analysis. ----- ===== Removing a column ===== To remove a column from the display: - **right-click on the column header** - select **Remove column** This action does **not delete the project data**, but only removes the column from the display. ----- ===== Sorting activities ===== {{:gantt_tri_colonnes.png?nolink&700}} Activities can be sorted directly from the **column headers**. To sort the data: - click on the desired column header Sorting can be applied on **multiple levels**. Each click adds an additional sorting level, allowing for example: * sorting by **Name** * then by **Start date** * then by **Finish date** This sorting makes it easier to analyse the schedule and find activities. ----- ===== Modifying the hierarchy organisation ===== {{:en:gantt:2026-03-12_11h47_40.png?400|}} Project activities are organised within a **hierarchical structure**: * Project * Subproject * Activities * Sub-activities It is possible to choose what should be displayed by expanding or collapsing hierarchy levels. To access these options: - open the hierarchy menu - select **Re-organize the tree** ----- ===== Changing hierarchy colours ===== {{:en:gantt:2026-03-12_11h48_38.png?400|}} The different hierarchy levels can be displayed with **distinct colours** to make the schedule easier to read. To modify these colours: - open the hierarchy menu - select **Modify tree colours** You can then define a colour for: * **Project** * **Subproject** * **Parent** * **Activity** These colours improve table readability and allow quick identification of structure levels. {{:en:gantt:2026-03-12_11h49_06.png?400|}} ----- ===== Customising the table display ===== The table organisation is fully configurable. Each user can therefore: * display only the necessary columns * sort activities according to their needs * adapt structure colours * organise the project hierarchy This customisation allows the Gantt table to become a **true schedule analysis tool**.
